Located in the historic Elizabeth neighborhood of
Charlotte, one and a half blocks north of
Presbyterian Hospital at 1508 East 4th Street, the former 1920's
mansion was restored and
renovated in 1987 over an 18 month period.
The heart pine planking on the floors through the
building was originally a section of the ceiling system of the Hersey's
Chocolate Plant in Hersey, Pennsylvania., obtained by Jim Chandler
from a salvage contractor and then re-sawed and tongue and grooved
before installation and refinishing.
English period antiques, including five tall case
clocks (circa 1694 through 1820) are located throughout the 6,500
sf office.
